core 2 duo cpu dead need help

hi there i have cpu core 2 duo the prob is no power..:(

i try to change power supply still not working pls help me.

any idea to troubleshot this cpu?or tricks:)

what do you mean no power? No display but the cpu is working, or totally no power?

Check your board, does the fan rotates? if not totally bno power, check for bloated caps....

totaly no power dead set fan not spin. but if i put mp4 to usb port it charge..

try to remove it and clean...

boss try to check no case ........because grounded the casing check the power supply working memory working....but cpu no active.......processor....change it post no luck...good luck

befor it happens... i plug usb cable in usb port. i forgot to unolug the usb port i solder sa cable then when i solder its shorts...:((:(( [ang ogag ko]:D

thats the history. i try to change power supply but only fan of processor is working

the mother bord is still no power or not booting no display po anything...:(

any idea for that?

i think you just short you MB....

sad to say we can't just repair it by just like phones :(...

my suggestion buy new one....

edit....

why not remove the usb connected on your MB...
i just know what it called...
the cable to power switch and usb cable infront...
then try to turn it by shorting the (+)power and (-)power using screw...

i already try that sir but still not working. my friend in malaysia said that .there some capaitor short in MB...

all i have to do is to trace that capasitor. but the question is i dont know thow to check the capasitor...:((:((
