Agenda: The Creation of the SOCIETY-COUNCIL
Preface: The leadership of the society (PinoyME) is vague and centralized. For a group that spans the whole whole world through our fingertips, we are growing and growing daily with new members. Due to the fact that PinoyME members are somewhat far from each other, it is sometimes very difficult for the administration to govern all pinoyME groups, occassions, and EB's. It is in the best interest of the group, that the balance of power be maintained and subdivided into the different sub groups located into the different countries.
Whereas, PinoyME is subdivided into various factions scattered around the world. i.e. Kuwait, KSA, UAE, Philippines and that only one administration handles all governance.
Whereas, PinoyME is slowly deteriorating when it comes web traffic stature due to the enormous popularity of various social networking sites i.e. Facebook.
Whereas PinoyME cannot govern all members within one sovereign governing body.
Whereas It is in the best interest of PinoyME that power be balanced and given to the subgroups to democratically lead them as a "local government unit".
Whereas the PinoyME officials, PRESIDENT, VICE, and SPEAKER, cannot decide on its own, the good and the benefit for the betterment of the PinoyME organization as a whole, it shall be needing a Council to better derive and govern its laws.
Whereas this council sees that the said "Local Government units" can and will personally and physically oversee the development and growth of their own "Local Government units".
Now therefore. BE IT RESOLVED that this council is implementing a "CHAPTER system" to further subdivide the PinoyME organization into smaller tighter groups. A Chapter is may be created at any time with the following provisions:
- Must have a minimum number of members of 10 individuals (Definition of individuals are a living, breathing Human being not robots, fake names, or dual user accounts.
- Chapter Members should be active with at least 10 posts per members.
- Chapter should represent a Country of present location.
- Chapter interaction should also be provided with a different forum section, where they can interact.
- Two Sub Chapters may not exist within the same country.
- Chapter members shall not have a change of color in their username, and will still retain their original powers and benefits. They may show their affiliation via avatars or signatures only.
Be it further resolved that this council is IMPLEMENTING the Councilor usergroups.
- Chapter leaders will be named "COUNCILORS" and have an indefinite term until resignation. "Councilors" will have the color designation of "YELLOW" and members of the usergroup "Government official" they are subordinates of Admin class officers, and the Ruling body (PRes, VP, HS). They will join the goverment officials, and will serve as OFFICIAL LAW MAKING body of the society. They will represent their chapter members in every decision the present government will make for the benefit of the organization. They will decide via a majority vote.
- Councilors shall be given Super Moderator powers.
Be it further resolved that this resolution is enacted upon by the Council for the benefit of the whole PinoyME community. That we may be united, in our own little way. That anywhere in the world where we are, we can show, that the Filipino race - always sticks together.
With the power Vested upon me as PRESIDENT of the PinoyME organization - I HEREBY Enact this resolution upon concurrence of the ad-interim Society Council.
